Chris Van Allsburg

Chris Van Allsburg (born June 18, 1949) is an American children's author and illustrator. He wrote the 1981 picture book, Jumanji, which inspired the 1995 film Jumanji, which inspired the 1996 animated series, the 2017 film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and the 2019 film Jumanji: The Next Level.
